How We Are Run
The Yorkshire Dales Rivers Trust is a charity, founded in 2004. The Trust is run by a group of Trustees who are elected by members and are answerable to the Charity Commissioners for ensuring the our funds are used wisely and in accordance with out objectives. Day to day management of the Trust is delegated to a small Working Group which includes the Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Members of Staff. The Trust Articles and Memorandum of Association are the two fundamental documents which determine how we are governed.

Trustees serve for a fixed number of years and then retire. As such we are always looking out for people who care about our rivers and who have the expertise to help us as a charity, particularly people with expertise in charity fund raising, communications and marketing to help develop and grow the organisation.
